Lorenzo Bessone began his professional experience in 2001 at Ernst & Young. He then provided consultancy to public administrations and SMEs in Northern Italy on subsidized finance and business strategy and then held the role of Director for Italy of GGBA - Greater Geneva Bern area for about ten years, a Swiss government agency that assists international companies in opening a branch in Switzerland, where he lived for about 8 years.
He graduated in Economics and Business at the University of Turin
